Birth care for first responders.  This is an eight hour course, which includes four hours of didactic/skills for childbirth that covers potential emergencies, and four hours of neonatal resuscitation with specific topics for first responders including resuscitation in place, integration with transferring midwives, emotional support of the birthing family, trauma informed care for both the family and the first responders, and other topics specific to first responders.  This course is for first responders (EMS, fire) desiring an NRP card at the end of the course, and requires extra work prior to the course. This course is ideal for initial training, Paramedic Academies, and systems that desire robust training for their staff.
